The sculpture that I created for a site in Hollingwood near Chesterfield was unveiled last week. The piece reflects the changing nature of the village from its former industrial, coal mining past to a village which now proudly boasts a beautiful, regenerated stretch of the Chesterfield canal. The piece was unveiled by the mayor of Chesterfield and some of the school children who were involved in the initial design workshop were also able to attend. A sculptor with unusually bow legs also watched on.

There are still places available on the April and June stone carving courses, please refer to previous posts and my main website at www.chisel-it.co.uk for further details. I will be installing the sculpture for the Tesco site in Bedworth tomorrow and will post a pic or two later in the week.
