The installation of the sandstone sculpture for Clay Cross in Derbyshire went smoothly last week. The piece which reflects the changing face of the town sits at the entrance to a new housing complex. It is around 1.8 metres tall and is carved in a 2 tonne boulder of Woodwork Sandstone. I will add final image once the landscaping around it is complete.

Since the last post I have been continuing to work my way through the 25 stone roses which will be set into walls of brand new houses on the site of the former Rearsby Roses garden centre in Leicestershire. Currently I am working on number 18 and if I am being perfectly honest, I am ready for a new challenge now !
