I was driving through south Leicestershire on the M1 earlier today and decided to stop off in Lutterworth to see how the horses were bedding in. I installed them earlier in the summer. They are made from white concrete and white limestone and are set into the grass bank that faces you as you approach the former coaching town. The sculpture measures over 22 metres long. Apparantly the artwork has been very received received locally which is always good to hear.

On a seperate note, I have had a cancellation for this weekend’s stone carving course. Short notice I know but if anyone was planning on twiddling their thumbs this weekend, consider coming to twiddle a mallet and a tungsten tipped chisel instead ! Drop me an e-mail asap!
