I am still beavering away on the sandstone sculpture for Chesterfield, hopefully I will install this in a couple of weeks time. In the meantime, I thought I would post a picture of “Somebody’s last supper”, one of the first sculptures I made. This was part of my degree show at Loughborough in 1995. It was bought by the owners of the Ferrers Centre at Staunton Harold in Leicestershire where it stood for 10 years before being moved outside Staunton Harold Hall where it is today. Sadly it has lost its shiny finish but is otherwise in good health. Feel free to visit my main website at www.chisel-it.co.uk where the gallery section has many images of my work – but none before 1995 !
